Simulated Game Flush - Full Day – 6 drives 

For 8-10 guns shooting 6 drives with over 2000 birds being presented. This day includes breakfast & a 2 course set lunch

It is anticipated that guns will prefer to use their own cartridges (fibre wads only please) and shotguns and the above prices reflect this preference. However, we can loan shotguns for a small charge and cartridges can also be purchased on the day if required - with sufficient notice.

Simulated game shooting offers all the thrills and challenges of a day’s game shooting but uses clay pigeon targets as a substitute to real game birds.

This is no ordinary clay pigeon shoot.

We use a bank of automatic traps hidden in natural surroundings just as you find on a real game shoot. A computerised system launches clays in a predetermined sequence to simulate the appearance of birds on a driven shoot. You will be presented with a mix of high, quartering, climbing, fast and deceptively slow birds that replicate the varying flight patterns you would encounter when birds are flushed on a game shoot. The sequences are varied for each “drive” and guns draw for peg positions and line up to shoot just as you would on game shoot.

All traps and equipment are hidden from the guns and a drive starts and finishes with the traditional whistle. During the drive, “birds” will appear as though they have been flushed with occasions when there are more “birds” in the air than can be shot by the guns. The drives can be set up to represent driven pheasant, partridge and grouse with an added bonus of a simulated duck flight as traditionally taken at the end of a day’s shooting.

This is a great way to experience a day’s game shooting in wonderful countryside for a fraction of the cost. It is a wonderful way to sharpen your technique before the season starts or perhaps practice double gunning with your loader before doing it for real.

It does of course offer an ideal way to entertain clients who shoot, and the format of the day can be designed to entertain and incorporate full hospitality facilities.
